Hymie Anisman

Department of Neuroscience

Hymie Anisman is a Canada Research Professor in Behavioural Neuroscience and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada. His research involves a systems-based biopsychosocial perspective to understanding the relationship between traumatic and daily stressors on mental and physical health outcomes. He has been particularly interested in factors promoting resilience among Indigenous Peoples.
